It seems like things in life get so much more complicated than they should be. Even in the age of technology, so much of it can seem a burden and with so much information at our disposal, it too can seem a burden to sift through. I like simple and always have. Anything that we learn in life always begins with the assumption that simple is correct. In our childhood years, we begin with the basic and simple trust that what is taught to us is correct. From academics to ethics, we simply believe…but something happens along the way.
We cast aside our simple trust in simplicity in favor of more burdensome and complicated matters. We all do this. We drag our emotional baggage around as if it is a prize to be shined, kept and hidden from view as a valuable with immeasurable worth. Strange as it seems, we all do this. It is with this intent that I am so happy to share with others a workout program that 1) actually works and 2) that involves a minimal amount of time but 3) one that involves a maximum amount of effort. We all want to achieve goals, verifiable results and feel good after a workout but all too often either do not have the time available or do not achieve our goals. This workout program will achieve those goals and give your valuable time back to you.
I have trained a plethora of people with this very simple yet effective workout program. For instance, just to post a few highlights, one friend of mine started out with a deadlift of 315 pounds and within six months time was at 450 pounds. That is a 135 pound gain in half a year! Have you ever had a gain like this? Oh, and by the way, he’s still climbing.
My non-athletic wife (God bless her) climbed through the roof. She began doing lunges, one leg at a time, by stepping up on a chair. Under her own weight, she was able to perform 11 repetitions. The last time she worked out, she was able to strap on a 50 pound weight vest and perform 19 repetitions per leg. All this with no extra “cardio” work (because the workout itself was the cardio work) and she lost over 30 pounds of excess weight by working out as little as once a week for approximately 15 minutes.
My mother, who is nearing 60 years of age, has also been working out and has, to her amazement, increased her strength considerably. Some of the aches and pains have gone away and she has achieved what she wanted most: to be stronger at doing her job. Age should always be a non factor when it comes to exercise. Everything is strengthened and protected from the heart to the muscular system, not to mention an increase in bone density. The body reaps an all-around reward. These are just a few examples from the world of reality rather than mere theory. It has been tried and tested.
As with anything out there, you might be saying, “But you’ve just found a good marketing niche for people who don’t have time.” In one sense, this is true but in another sense, it is not. I did not design the program to fit the niche but I did discover the niche that fit the workout program. I could never in good conscience sell something that did not work. I could not live with this burden myself or before God. If you allow the God-designed principles in this workout to govern properly, they will produce and multiply not only the fitness life but enrich your understanding of its correlation to the spiritual life. If they are not used properly, then you will be wasting your time in excess of unnecessary exercise.
It is only because of the burdens that I must peel back layer after layer of unnecessary exercise to reveal that the most simplistic approach has been the best approach all along. It is not the best because of the mounting and cumbersome burdens of work, life and gym but because we have cast aside simplicity as a viable option at all. I did some excavation work and unearthed a treasure of simplicity that had been buried by all of the junk that we unnecessarily draw into our lives to make them more difficult than they should be. It should have always been the only option. It was Albert Einstein, the master of complicated theories, who said, “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler.” That is why I am pleased to present my eBook, Body by God.
